Pinky is the lover of all cats.  He enjoys being petted and will jump on your chair arm for extra attention.  Put a pillow or blanket on your lap, and he will likely curl up and sleep.  He enjoys play time, but can easily bore about it.  He is shy around new people until he starts warming up to you. This sweet baby does have a heart condition that is easily controlled with a few meds in a pill pocket (45 pills for 90 days cost $5), but his condition doesn’t stop him.

Chula originally adopted as a small puppy, was shortly returned a few months later because of her humans unexpected hardship.  It’s hard to believe, but the poor girl has been at the shelter ever since waiting on her forever home.

Max is a big, shy sweetie pie. He was born in the shelter, one of eight puppies, and was adopted. Many months later, he escaped his owner's home and was picked up by Animal Services. His owner no longer wanted him, so he was returned to the Humane Society. He was the shyest pup in the litter, and remains so to this day. But don't let his shyness fool you; he is no scary-cat, in fact he loves other dogs and cats. He is shy with strangers, fearful, and is in need of a tender-hearted, gentle and loving human who can gain his trust. Once he warms up to you, he is a big teddy lover bear!  He wants a forever home with someone who is as cool and calm as he is. The shelter life doesn’t agree with Max and depression settles into close to him so come in to adopt Max.  You will definitely find your forever best friend in him!

Rocco is an older male with lots and lots of personality! He is so unique which sets him apart from just being an average dog. He is the GHHS mascot! Rocco is just like a cartoon character with all his spunky and corky ways.  He’s been on a special diet, but it doesn’t stop him from talking and demanding a treat.  He is the little rascal of all small dogs and has a girlfriend named Nana he roams the shelter halls with.  If you are looking for the best of the best and a trusty companion, think of sweet Rocco.
