Summer has bid adieu. Now it is finally fall and the leaves on the trees are putting on their annual color show. They show out with their brilliant reds, rich oranges and glittering golds. The oppressive heat of the summer begins to dissipate, the days get shorter and shorter, and the promise of cooler weather is felt with each breeze. Soon a new season will be upon us. Tis the season for black cats and carved pumpkins, haunted houses and miniature candy, ghost stories and witches. It’s a time for tricking, it’s a time for treating. The time of year that is the perfect backdrop for gathering your friends together to celebrate the spookiest night of the year. First and foremost, be aware that planning a Halloween party is not for the faint of heart. It requires commitment and imagination. The key to an unforgettable and ghostly gala is to transport your guests, submerge them in another world. A world that is eerie yet whimsical, spooky yet festive. Give your guests more than just a Halloween party, give them a Halloween EXPERIENCE.
Details make the difference
Give your party a professionally planned feel with details that make a difference.
- Setting the tone with save the dates – not all stationary is created equal – paper textures make a difference.
- Invitation styling should complement save the dates. These set your party tone. Lined envelopes, hand addressing, seals, waxes and personalized stamps can make your invitations next level.
- Set theme and build on it. This gives your guests a consistent feeling as they move through the space. If you have ghosts and a graveyard outside, set an old fashioned wake, witches lair or asylum laboratory inside to pull them together.
- Create a good flow and energy. Make it easy for guests to move and mingle. The energy will come from lighting, seating, and DJ selection. Parking and parting gifts are also a nice touch.
- Food finesse will make your menu amazing. Prepping and serving dishes are critical to any tables success. Your food should look as good as it tastes. Don’t settle!
