Angela Panzica is a hospitality entrepreneur based in Huntsville, Ala., and a transplant from Sarasota, Fla, where she was shaped by its dynamic hospitality scene. With a background in marketing, branding, and design, she opened Stella’s Elixir Lounge in December 2020 and The Blind Tiger luxury event space in 2023. She specializes in creating elevated, immersive experiences that blend exceptional atmosphere and service, helping shape Huntsville’s evolving nightlife and community culture.
What circumstances or person/people helped shape you in your career?
My mother was the biggest influence. As a nurse, she modeled unmatched work ethic, professionalism, discipline, and integrity. She showed me that consistency builds credibility and that developing real skills gives you power. That foundation carried me from in-house design work through leading creative teams and into building my own hospitality brand with purpose and high standards.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is bringing concepts to life and creating spaces where people can connect. Seeing guests fully immersed from the moment they walk in is the most rewarding part. I love designing intentional, beautiful environments paired with thoughtful cocktails, music, and concierge level service, creating elevated nightlife experiences that contribute to Huntsville’s growth and culture.
What’s your favorite thing about living in the Huntsville Madison County area?
My favorite thing about Huntsville is the momentum and sense of possibility. When I moved here in 2018, I saw a growing city with room for new energy in hospitality and entertainment. I love being part of that evolution, watching downtown thrive and helping introduce experience driven concepts that add to the culture and community.
