What circumstances or people helped shape you in your career?
My career has been shaped by strong leadership, mentorship, and a culture of growth. Keller Williams’ emphasis on training, accountability, and thinking bigger pushed me beyond what I initially thought possible. One of the most influential leaders in my journey has been Dawn Cazdessus, Regional Director of Keller Williams’ Southeast Region, supporting nearly 18,000 agents across Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. Her story — from humble beginnings to the CEO suite and international stages — has been incredibly inspiring. More importantly, her commitment to helping others achieve their potential has challenged me to lead with purpose, think at a higher level, and create opportunities not just for myself, but for others.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most is the opportunity to impact lives – both clients and agents. Real estate allows me to help families make meaningful decisions, while leadership gives me the chance to mentor and grow others’ businesses. Watching someone gain confidence, build success, and change their future is incredibly rewarding.
What civic organizations or nonprofits have you been involved with, and why are they important to you?
Giving back is a core value for me. Through Keller Williams’ annual RED Day, we step away from business to serve our community, which reinforces the importance of people over profit. I’ve also been involved with the Huntsville Learning Center and the Circle Project at Madison Cross Roads Elementary. Supporting education and local families matters deeply to me because strong communities start with opportunity and support.
Do you have a favorite inspiring quote?
I have two and one can’t exist without the other.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” — Mark Twain
“I cannot believe that the purpose of life is to be happy. I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be compassionate…to have made some difference that you lived at all.” – Gary Keller
