What’s your ideal solo Saturday?
It’s probably a mix of being productive and completely unplugging. I’ll usually start with a workout, then spend the afternoon either working on a coding project or fixing something around the house. The day usually ends with me at the grill or in the kitchen. I make a mean steak, but I’m probably best known for my chocolate chip cookies. There’s something rewarding about a Saturday where you actually built or made something.
Do you think independence makes dating harder or easier?
Easier, without a doubt. Independence shifts the dynamic from “need” to “want.” When two people are already happy on their own, coming together becomes a choice rather than a necessity. It makes every date and conversation feel more intentional. You aren’t looking for someone to fill a gap; you’re looking for someone to share the best parts of life with.
